When Imagineers first conceived Disney California Adventure theme park, they wanted to pay homage to the states unique aviation history, and celebrate the Super Sonic age that testing on the salt flats helped to usher in. Originally comprised of the Taste Pilots Grill restaurant, the Fly’n’ Buy gift shop, and the E-ticket attraction Soarin, we had a front row seat in helping to give this park its early shape.
